Review: Everlane Cotton Box-Cut Tee Dress

You guys. I think I’ve found it–my uniform: a dress that I could wear every single day and want to buy 5 of so I always have one to wear in between laundry days. (I’ve actually worn this dress at least 3 times in the last week!). I took this with me to Coachella and it was so comfortable and easy to wear. Meet Everlane’s Cotton Box-Cut Tee Dress.

I’m giving another pair of earrings a shot. Unlabel sent me another pair of Art of Observance’s earrings. This time I’m wearing the Ebony Earring. I love that this is a subtle red as you all know my hesitancy with color. I also love that it’s not as much of a statement as the Kora Earring.

QUALITY

I’ve been looking for a t-shirt dress for a long time, but they were always too short or the material was too thin. This dress is neither of those things. It’s not see-through at all, but the cotton is still really soft. With how many times I’ve worn it in the last few weeks, it has withstood a lot: Coachella, workdays with students pulling at my dress to get my attention, coffee dates, and afternoons spent wandering craft fairs. I have one in my Everlane cart to buy on May 01 so that I have a back up to wear so that I don’t wear one down to its threads.

COMFORT & FIT

What drew me to this dress the most was how relaxed the fit was. I got my usual size and I love how it doesn’t cling to my body as I’m not the biggest fan of bodycon dresses and rather prefer things that drape over my least favorite parts of my body. This dress makes me feel so good. I love that you can dress it up with boots and some jewelry (like in this post), or you can keep it casual and simple with sandals or sneakers. The cotton is so soft! I think I’ve even fallen asleep in this one night because it felt like I was wearing pajamas! This is hands down my favorite Everlane purchase ever!
