I have never been an earrings girl. In fact, until now, I’ve worn the same pair of stud earrings that I got my ears pierced with at Claire’s 5 years ago. So when Unlabel contacted me about receiving a pair of earrings from Art of Observance, I was a little nervous and skeptical but I wanted to push myself outside of my comfort zone. When it comes to jewelry, I pretty much wear the same stacked necklaces and the same set of rings. I may change up my watch here and there, but for the most part, I wear the same set of jewelry everyday: a Kat Kim ring that Brandon gave me years ago, a Missoma x Williams Small Horn Necklace, a Mejuri Zodiac Necklace, and a few other dainty rings.
Enter the Kora Earring from Art of Observance. They’re handmade from clay and I love how lightweight they are on my ears. I felt so fancy in these statement earrings, even though we were just on a typical weekend coffee date. I love how they bring a little extra interest to my otherwise pretty basic, and pretty typical me outfit. I might just have to make some room in my catch all jewelry trays for some statement earrings, because I’m totally digging them!
A sidenote–I have been living in this Everlane Box-Cut Tee Dress! It’s only $25 and it is one of the easiest things to slip on and run out the door. I also love that you can dress it up or down with accessories. They have a striped version that I totally have my eye on once my No Shop April is over. It’s little black dresses like these that make me really believe that I can just get rid of everything non-black in my closet.
