PCC Flea Market

We’ve been able to go to the Pasadena City College Flea Market for the last two months now, and I have to say it has been some of the best days I’ve had lately. This morning, we went with our good friends Sara and Corey. After a rough couple of weeks, spending time with the people I love was just what the doctor ordered.

Originally, in February, we went to the PCC Flea Market because I wanted to find a mirror to put near our front door, particularly a circle one like this one or this one. But then I fell in love with these handwoven baskets! I took one home in February and have been dreaming of getting more since. In our 400 square foot apartment, it doesn’t make sense to get another, but mark my words, once we get a bigger place, there will be more baskets! I’m still on the hunt for a mirror and a few other things, but I know they’ll find their way to me when I’m ready for them.

Can we also take a minute to talk about this dress? I actually wanted this to be mine and Jen’s Dynamic Duo item, but we ended up going with the Madewell Kent Sweater. I couldn’t stop thinking about this dress though, so I went ahead and ordered it anyway. I am currently on the hunt to build up my dress collection a bit, especially with Spring and Summer coming up. I’m totally having a moment with sneakers again, and pairing them with dresses and skirts. Can there any thing that screams Spring more than a pair of white sneakers?

I also just want to end this post by saying that as much as Instagram frustrates me, I’m so thankful for all the people it has connected me with. Without it, Sara and I would not have become friends, and I cannot imagine life without her. So whenever I’m frustrated with that darn algorithm, I need to remember this and all of the other amazing ladies I’ve been able to meet IRL or online through this app.
