Extra Ordinary

There’s something so satisfying about accomplishing so much before the world is awake. With other early birds out about in the streets, it’s like partaking in a secret meeting together as we stealthily seize the day. We enjoy lazy mornings in bed spent resisting the start to the day as much as the next person, but we took advantage with most people sleeping in on a Sunday morning by exploring the Louis Vuitton Series 2 at the Calumet Photographic.  With its many different mediums, the exhibit was so inspiring and, to put it simply, cool. It showcased the inspiration behind the SS 2015 line and featured current and past fashion muses using lights, projections, mirrors, and videos. It was hard not to be inspired in this environment. After walking through the exhibition twice, we left reenergized and empowered, and with nifty souvenirs to remember it by.

  1. I'm in love with all these pictures! Such great photography 🙂 I particularly love the ones with the cacti! I'm a sucker for succulents too haha 😛

  2. I love the exhibition with the moons! I don't go to museums or exhibitions very often, but whenever I go, I leave wondering why I don't go to them more often. I always leave inspired to do my own creative work. In high school I was constantly creating for IB HL Art and I kind of miss that, but it's so hard to find time! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's

  3. Was at the LV exhibit a few days ago. Definitely plenty of eye candy to experience at the exhibit. I saw your photos and thought one of them was taken the day I was there. I'm certain there were quite a few other photographers that have been inspired by this show. I'm working on the images I shot and will post on IG over the next 1-2 days.
Hopefully LA will be seeing similar fashion/art related exhibits in the coming months. Thank you for post your experience!

  4. This. Looks. Amazing. It must have been so interesting seeing the inspiration behind the line. I always find it fascinating how things like certain colors r pictures can spark a whole new, beautiful idea. I'd definitely get out of bed for this, too 😉 And I love how the exhibit used different mediums- that moon thing looks so cool! Also, holy yum at your lunch.
